On March 12, we had the pleasure of visiting with Mark Rogers on his Hometown Heroes radio show. Mark’s show is a staple in the Philadelphia area for more than twenty years, and it continues to thrive in its new home at Delaware Public Media (broadcasting locally on 91.1 WDDE). The show will be rebroadcast on Wednesday, March 15th, at 9 PM (Eastern).
Mark played our tunes “I’m Irish” and “Song to Shatter Stone” from the CD, and we also played (largely) unplugged versions of “Down the Line” and “Rock the Caboose”. In between, we got a chance to catch up with Mr. Mark and talk about how our album Conversations We Never Had came to be.
As a bonus, Mark played a song by the Polychromatics, a great “Philly Psych” band with which we have some ties.
